We are so fortunate to have Dublin Zoo on our doorstep and Castleknock Hotel is proud to support Dublin Zoo through the adoption of the Giraffe herd on an annual basis. Children receive our mascot Phoenix the Giraffe with their welcome packs to the hotel, we encourage you to bring them on all your family adventures but particularly to the zoo!

The Phoenix Park is home to so many iconic places to go and things to see. Go check out Áras an Uachtaráin, home and workplace to the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins. Why not have a cuppa in The Victorian Tea Rooms or check out the beautiful Farmleigh House and the intriguing Magazine Fort? There is plenty for the whole family to enjoy! Keep an eye out for the park’s most famous residents, The Fallow Deer or go and have fun in the playground. Once again just a short 10–15-minute drive from the hotel.
